The US Postal Service (USPS) delivers mail to homes and business Monday to Saturday. Mail is not delivered on Sunday or legal holidays. Special delivery and express mail is delivered seven days a week. 

When mailing a letter in the US, make certain to use the zip code (postal code) - you can look up any US postal code here. You will also find the the current postage rates on the USPS website.

The Yale Campus has a US Post Office on site, the Yale Station, located at 206 Elm Street (corner of High Street), in the basement of Lanman-Wright Memorial Hall. Their hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. 

The main New Haven US Post Office is located at 50 Brewery Street (near IKEA). Their hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm, Saturdays from 8am to 1pm.
