We realize that students are very busy with academic and extracurricular activities. In order to understand your expectations of this program, please take the time to give us an idea of the kind of time commitment you are looking for. How often would you like to meet with your host? What kind of activities would you be interested in sharing with your host?
The more we know about you, the better able we are to match you with a compatible host. Please provide us with any additional information that you think will be helpful in making a good match.

The Community Friends Program is arranged by the Office of International Students and Scholars at Yale University in the hopes of fostering friendship and understanding between members of the local community and international students. I understand that the preferences stated in the above questionnaire will be used only as a reference point in the selection process. OISS cannot promise that the host I am matched with will fit this profile. I understand that as a student, I am expected to be in touch with my host and share the occasional meal, family event, or activity.
